In other news, I'll post a character picture for these two in a bit when I get around to it since I always make one before hand to define and pick colors. They're fairly minor characters, but semi-important and reoccurring. The short stocky guy is Finas and the taller one is Casimiro otherwise known as Cas.
Hope you guys dig! I'm not a big fan of this one but yanno it's one of THOSE days where nothing comes out right so you just decide to roll with it and try again tomorrow.

I’m wondering the same thing.. They have quite a few similarities! (I hope it’s not just a coincidence, I love connections like that.)
I think the resemblance between Veser and Cas is just Tessa’s style. There are only so many face shapes you can use before you have to reuse them.
The idea that they may be family is intriguing, though. Probably not brothers, since we don’t see Cas in those flashbacks from earlier, and his character design on Tessa’s DA seems to imply that he’s been with that companion of his for a while. A great uncle, perhaps? I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s his father, since if he’s been around for a while that implies that he couldn’t have helped Veser’s mother conceive him: people without heartbeats don’t generally create sperm and, consequently, cannot create children.
I’m curious about Casimiro’s left eye. What would turn it white/opaque like that? Holy water?
I posted that after I saw the DA pic she put up. But I still think they look kinda similar, but yeah, it probably is just her style showing up. Good point. X)

Man, I’ve developed such a… not quite a crush for Conrad. An affinity? I want to be his mentor or senpai or something and help him get used to things. Closer than friends but not dating (’cause I don’t think I’d get along with him enough for that) nor like siblings (’cause vampire stuff is a bit too wrong with someone you feel is like a brother). My head is writing self-indulgent self-insert fic like you wouldn’t believe.

I’ve noticed that Conrad’s eyes are only rarely drawn, but hanna’s are visible pretty often. Even though they both wear glasses. Hmm

Hanna mentioned at the beginning of the chapter that he’s not going to get any of the perks or get rid of the bite marks until he stops being a pussy and eats someone, so he’s technically not a complete vampire yet. I guess a symmetrical mouth doesn’t happen until that point either.
He’s got two fangs but one is too little to stand out. Tessa said it was just because Conrad’s a lame-pire…
