Here’s the next strip. I’m juggling this and Feb’s donation incentive WHICH IS GONNA BE BIG so HAA <3 but I finally got this one out. I gotta admit, it was not cooperating and I had to just decide to move on.
Other newsbits is that I AM attending A-KON in Dallas from June 4th-6th and will have a table there with some of my friends! I totally hope to see you there, I plan to have books, buttons, prints, consketches and etc for sale so hopefully that’ll be a fun thing, YEA? Also, I have requested tables at Otakon in Baltimore from July 30th-August 1st as well, so we’ll see how that goes! Once these all get confirmed I’ll have a con schedule where I’ll try to get you updated on where I’m located (though sometimes I guess I won’t know until I get there). In any case, thanks so much GUYS.
I have to confess, that there has been a bit of an explosion in the amount of love I am getting from you guys, and I REALLY don’t want you to think I don’t appreciate it as I have not been able to be quite as responsive. I read all your mail and art and fan stuff and adore it, it is just getting quite hard to juggle it all but I REALLY TRY. I don’t k-know what’s going on, what a dream this is!

I keep coming back to look the way Tessa’s drawn zombie’s face in this dreamworld. It’s simple and expressive, created with a minimal number of lines and very restrained touches a shading.
No wonder we all think he’s such a heart throb, when he’s drawn so beautifully.
I really need to stop commenting, but those yellow shapes extending down the hallway in the third panel have me absolutely mystified. I don’t know if they’re supposed to be significant (they’re colored differently than the rest of the background elements, so maybe?), but if they are I have no idea what they’re supposed to be.
Anyone have any guesses?
Maybe windows or, like, avant-garde wall decorations? It looks like some sort of hallway.

Quite–real life Zombie is just plain hot.
So to sum up: living Gallahad is hot, the paper crane is amazing, you are very good at perspective, and I LOVE every new little bit of plot with every new shiny page. >^_^< And I'll leave it at that.
Also, I dunno if anyone has had this problem but my RSS feed hasn't shown an update since "Something Fierce." Anyone else? Or is this just on my end of things? :(

Everyone else has such nice and thought-out comments…but all I can say is that I absolutely love the way this story progresses, love the art, and I can’t wait until there are new books available for ordering because I really, really want one :(

I feel so sorry for Lee. It seems like the ghost form is simply raw emotion, without any thinking process that’s just acting out of pure anger. While the actual conciousness is stuck inside this…mind? Dreamworld? Place between life and death? *shrugs*
First of all, this comic just keeps getting more awesome!

Ok, so ideas about what is going down:
Often in stories, ghosts are controlled by emotions only. So the consciousness that is the real Lee, not just Lee’s dying emotions, is stuck inside him just as Zombie is currently stuck inside. Now, what exactly this dreamworld/mindworld is, I don’t know. But I think this Lee is not trying to trap Zombie. I think he’s just unaware of what his ghost self is doing.
The real question is does he sense that his ghost self is trying to kill Veser and just doesn’t know that it’s his ghostself? Or is Veser’s dad gonna try and kill Veser?!?! Cause Veser did tell Lee where he thought the skin was.
Also, why does Zombie perceive himself as alive and Lee perceives himself as dead? Or does Zombie perceive Lee as dead and Lee perceives himself as alive? Like…I know Lee thinks he’s still alive, but does he perceive the nooses all around or does he see things kinda like Zombie sees things…things from his life. If so, does he perceive Zombie as dead and everyone thinks that they’re alive and the other one is dead?
Or or or!!!! Does each one see things that they can’t remember?! Zombie can’t remember his life. Lee can’t remember dying. Maybe this is their subconscious of forgotten?

I’ve been reading Hanna for a while now (not realizing there was a comment box) and I just want to comment on how amazing you are. Your structure is original and your story is (confusing) very intriguing. I’ve read it top to bottom a few times and I can’t get over your plot or characters.
