Hooray I am relearning how to use markers! I am having a lot of fun doing this one so most likely I am going to keep doing it. I’m going to sell this one in my Etsy store when I’m finished, and gonna have my sis price it for me cos I never know how much to sell my own art. It will be the only one like it!
I think after this one I’m going to do with Conrad in it or one of Ples I am dying to draw both lately.

Tessa’s changing servers because this one’s going down the drain for some reason. It’s still here no matter what the error messages say! It’ll be okay! Eventually! I’ve had so many of those errors lately that they’ve stopped freaking me out.

On a slightly more pathetic/nerdy/ohGodWTF note, due to the awesomeness of Zombie/…/Ringo/Imhotep/ect., I spent the last twenty minutes making him into a character for Dungeons and Dragons. Level 1 Revenant (zombie) Monk? Yeah, that’ll do. Haven’t seen any moves other than physical blows, so fighting with his fists seemed best.
Errrr… too much nerd detail here. I have shared too much once again. I’ll be in my corner!

i missed reading your comic! but i like letting a few days pass so i can read a lot of chapters straight..and…well…it’s pretty mindblowing! =))
i checked out your DA to view your past concepts and stories…i must confess that personally, Hanna is Not a Boy’s Name is the story where the characters have the most developed personalities and depth. you can actually relate to them and feel their emotions…also, i feel that i’m in the story…sometimes i can even imagine the voice acting of the whole thing and stuff hahaha (i’m an animation student by the way…so i end up seeing it like a movie).
it really is an awesome story…for one, i could barely expect anything…each passing of strip is full of surprises and suspense that it keeps you wanting more….like chocolate chip cookies..or potato chips. =))
if only i could buy the book…that would be so awesome. more power to you and this blog! rock on :)

As for the comic, i was introduced by fello vocallists. Odd, but they both seem to have crushes on guys with glasses & red hair… I was surprised when I realized i was too. XD

Rereading this for my third time alredy (lol it’s THAT good! you go, girl!!) and whoa, I just noticed so many things I missed before, like that the ghost, when passing through Hanna, becomes all skeleton-y! Obviously this has something to do with the fact that Doc. Worth is totally against Hanna dealing with ghosts, and seriously, was that a bottle of pills for Hanna he’s prescribing?? What for??? UUUUNUNUNUN MUST KNOWWW!!! Not to mention he’s as light as a feather, and I don’t think that is just because he’s so thin. And for some reason he smells like rotten flesh to vamps like Connie. And those scars, and all the tools for magic. Where did he get all of that?! And the scars… THE SCARS!!!
And then there is Gallahad… Murdered, but how??? Who??? How is he the walking undead now? What is UP with those deadly viper reflexes? Seriously, he’s like a ninja! Maybe I’m getting over my head, but I like to think he was something predatory before he was totally slaughtered, like an assassin or something (at least that’s what It think it could be on the extreme scale). I also can’t wait to meet this person that person who keeps his picture in their wallet, but I bet that won’t be until waaaay later (which is fine by me because I love it when information doesn’t just…. fly at you. I’ve been loving Hanna’s doggedness for that reason, too) And I seriously can not WAIT for more Casimiro and Finas. Not to mention I can’t wait for a full-out Ples arch or something XD Or even Adelaide to reappear and do some tormenting.
Your characters are so intriguing! They are each like their own little mixed up Rubik’s Cubes, each one slowly playing themselves out.. All the information is presented before us, but jumbled up and not clear what the main picture is. As the story slowly progresses, the cube get’s closer and closer to being a clear, completed answer. I think this is more useful for describing the creative process, but I think it illustrates a pretty clear picture about the characters.
Haha! I have so much to say about a whole bunch of other stuff about this comic, but I’ll save that for a later day maybe.
