POWER HIII FIIIVE.
So I’m kind of trying to find ways to streamline the way I color without having it actually detract from the way that the strip looks, so expect some minor experimentation here and there. The pages have been easier due to how I’ve been coloring which has allowed me to go back to a much more regular updating schedule (although every day is probably not going to last forever hahaha).
Towards the end of Ch2 I was going nuts with the coloring and like, putting in details in places it /didn’t matter/ and you really couldn’t see, thus slowing the strip down and also making me feel tired and like I didn’t want to color another page for a million years.
I still think the strip NEEDS to be in color, so that’s never going to go away, but I think there are more monotone/stylistic coloring styles I could probably use to help make each page a tiny bit easier! Hopefully it won’t be a let down!
Also trying a different style for backgrounds, a kind of more solid, clunkier style and we’ll see where that takes me!
In other news, hey look it’s the new guy (TM)! Now be nice and don’t push him around the playground guys, unless that’s how you show your affection, then by all means — skin his knee!!

Actually, I was just thinking early on in the comic how nice it is to see a comic that is so elaborate and creative with its backgrounds/speech bubbles/ panels etc. but after a while it was too much and I started to get a headache. x_x
