So on the last day of Comic Con I had a sore throat, and was like UGH, this sucks! I got back, rested for like, two days and left for Baltimore.
I fought through it through the next several days (and don’t get me wrong, Otakon was a BLAST) but it was also very very exhausting and I’m now even sicker than ever. As much as I really want to finish the next pages of the strip and keep plowing forward, I’m going to (with the better judgment of my friends and family) actually NOT work for the next few days.
So unfortunately, a strip cannot be expected soon, but this is probably pretty good for me and recharge me 100%. I have a pretty bad habit of starting work up again before I’m all better and therefore wear myself out faster. Anyways, take care and I wanted to thank everyone for a great con season! I have one more to go, and YEAH you guys all rock.
I’ll do a proper report on SDCC and Otakon and cons in general when I get back, so STAY COOL. And if you’re in Texas I mean QUITE LITERALLY.

WHEW. So busy! I managed to get this done for you guys though, and it’s killing me I can’t work faster. I’m doing my best! SDCC was a blast, and Otakon is tomorrow. I will do my best to have some strips done while I’m in Baltimore, but no promises, seeing that SDCC kicked my ass time wise. I will make fists and fight with the greatest fury though!!

Also, I want to pass out a friendly reminder to you guys that purchasing the Hanna books is a PREORDER which means that it takes a while to get shipped. I realize it’s not super ideal, but here’s why. I personally sign and lovingly draw in all of them (that are ordered before the final date, which is the end of this month). Also, I’m not even in Sacramento, which is where 4DE is based, so it is even a longer process (unfortunately, agh! Hey I should move out to California, hahahahah). If this is a super big pain in the butt I totally understand, and you can purchase them normally via the 4th Dimension Entertainment website once the pre-order deal is over with, and it doesn’t have to go through the longer wait of being personally loved (by me).
I really appreciate your guys’ support though like EIGHT MILLION PERCENT!!! but I just wanted to let you guys know what’s going on with the books if there was any miscommunication to those of you who have ordered them. Shipping won’t even really start until the beginning of August. If you have any questions or concerns about the orders you’ve already made (or orders you are thinking of making) please don’t feel bashful! Next time you get a sore throat consider drinking warm, fresh squeezed lemonade. It works wonders for sore throats. I got a bad case of it on vacation and was cured within two days. I still had the sniffles and sneezes but otherwise pain-free. :) Good luck with all your stuff and become awesome comic artist Tess once again.

NOOoooooo, I’m all caught up :( I found this comic on boxer hockey and it’s really amazing. It’s rare to see a web comic with such professionalism, the story is really great, and the art is amazing, even the layout is excellent, it makes reading it so much fun. I look forward to seeing more.
I’d highly suggest adding GenCon to your list of cons next year, if you haven’t already. I’d love to see you there, especially if you’re selling Hannah paraphernalia. I’d love to get my hands of a physical copy of the comic <3.
Hope you feel better soon. Finally after several months of being told “you should read HINAB, you will love it” by my friends, I have done and it is totally awesome. Your drawing style is well good qualitee. I’ve been pestered by said friends to cosplay Hanna as they said I’d make a good one, but in a way was worrying… now I know why… Hanna is exactly like me if I was a paranormal investigator, we even look fairly similar, right down to the same-ish glasses and (until a month ago, but was going to go back to it soon) orange hair and the fact that nobody will believe we’re over 20. We even dress pretty much the same! Also a love of sharpies and of tools. It’s kind of creepy… are you psychic? Or magic?
I read this in two days. Not kidding.

ALSO I think it'd be a GREAT idea for you to. uhm. visit Detroit. for Halloween. at Youmacon. Because a Halloween HINABN meet-up would be totes awesome.
